The Isle of Wight: Now Home to Over 400 Golf Courses?!

If you’ve ever heard someone say “the Isle of Wight is full of hidden gems”, they probably weren’t talking about golf courses. After all, our little island has just a handful of beautiful courses, each offering something unique from sweeping coastal views to rolling countryside fairways.

But what if we told you the Isle of Wight is now home to over 400 golf courses?

Sounds impossible, right? Well, not if you know where to look.

At our indoor golf simulator venue, powered by Trackman technology, golfers can step onto world famous fairways without ever leaving the Island. Want to take on St Andrews? Pebble Beach? Or perhaps try your luck at winning the green jacket at Augusta National? With more than 400 courses available at your fingertips, you can play them all with no ferry ticket required.

It’s golf without the time worries, without the travel, and without the lost balls (well, mostly!). Whether you’re looking to sharpen up your game, enjoy a round with friends, or just experience the thrill of playing legendary courses, our simulators bring the world of golf right here to the Isle of Wight.

So, while the Isle of Wight may not technically have 400 golf courses scattered across its countryside, we like to think we’ve got the next best thing and it’s all under one roof.

Fancy ticking a few world-famous courses off your list? Here's a few of our favs:

St Andrews - The Old Course is the Home of Golf and one of the most traditional and iconic golf courses in the world with a history going back to the 16th century. The course has hosted ‘The Open Championship’ more than any other course in the rotation. With unmatched history, the course includes iconic landmarks, such as the Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole, the ‘Road bunker’ on the 17th hole, and large double greens on 14 of the holes.

Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, is a Jack Nicklaus–designed par-71 course known for its rolling terrain, fast greens, and championship pedigree. Ranked the state’s top course, it has hosted multiple PGA Championships and the Ryder Cup, cementing its place among America’s premier golf venues.

Bethpage Black is a legendary public championship golf course in Bethpage State Park, Long Island, it’s a par-71 course stretching over ~7,400-7,500 yards from the championship tees. Known for its narrow fairways, brutal rough, deep bunkers, small greens, and a warning sign at the first tee cautioning that it’s only for “highly skilled golfers,” Bethpage Black has hosted events like the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, The Barclays, and most recently the Ryder Cup.

Pop in, grab a drink from the bar, and see how many of the Isle of Wight’s 400 golf courses you can conquer.

Tee times available Tuesday - Sunday each and every week and you can book yours at www.teehutgolf.com
